DANCING SNOWFLAKES by ZOE ENG

Zoe Eng

Dancing Snowflakes

Snowflakes slowly drifting down,

Like a white soft blanket covering the ground.

No two snowflakes are ever the same,

Gliding through the air, floating like a flame.

Sticking out my tongue to catch a snowflake,

Although refreshing, it gave me a stomachache! L

Very discriptive poem Zoe! I love your exquisite showing of you eating a snowflake as they slowly come down.

I liked how you put a simile with snow as a white soft blanket.

Zoe,

Your choice of project is the most daring, writing a poem, as no other classmates attempted to write. Your surprise ending made me laugh with delight!

Zoe,

Beautiful poem. I used to do the same thing when I was child trying to catch snowflakes with my tongue.... That's fun.
