Springtime

I say goodbye to my coats and jackets,

And say hello to my tennis racquets.

I ran outside filled with joy,

Until my brother sneered and said, “Enjoy.”

I wondered why he was acting eerie,

Until I felt that my eye was itchy.

As I itch my eye without any strategies,

I say to myself, “I hate allergies!”
