A RIDDLE by ZOE ENG

A Riddle

By: Zoe Eng

My mother’s beloved brocade flew away,

To a fairy land it stayed.

Her tears and blood was weaved into her art,

Now that it’s gone,

Pain and sadness fills her heart.

My brothers set off for a dangerous quest,

Hoping nothing but the best.

When they didn’t return from their journey,

It was up to me to challenge the leaping flames and icy sea.

I had my mother’s life to save,

That’s why I had to be fearless and brave.

WHO AM I?
