Dear Washington Irving ,
I have read your
story-“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. I am very interested in what happened in
the story. It is very mysterious and interesting what happens at the end. Why
was it that the headless horseman could pass the bridge that was said it was a
stopping point for the headless horseman?
In the story,
Katrina gets mad at Ichabod. They were having an excellent time. Why did
Katrina get Angry? Also, the town in which the story takes place in is Sleepy
Hollow. Is there a certain reason why this town is called Sleepy Hollow?
Was it brom bones
who threw the pumpkin at Ichabod? Did he dress up as the headless horseman? I
really like this story and want answers to what had happened that night with
Ichabod. This story always makes me wonder if brom bones had dressed up as the
headless horseman. Now, is there still unexplained mysterious vanishing in the
town of Sleepy Hollow? One last question- why did the mysterious headless
horseman chase after Ichabod Crane and not other people?
Warm Regards,
Nicholas Ng
